Shoplifting Gilbert

Shoplifting is where a person takes an item placed for sale without paying the purchase price, or where a person pays the purchase price but with a card they do not have permission to use. Switching item labels and other tricks used to pay less for an item than what it is on sale for is also considered shoplifting. And a person does not need to actually carry the item out of the store to be guilty of shoplifting—simply hiding unpurchased items beneath a shirt or in a bag while still in the store is enough.
